Natalia Labović to represent Montenegro at the 70th Miss World pageant


Natalia Labović, 26, was officially announced as Miss Montenegro 2020. She was crowned by her predecessor Mirjana Muratović in a special ceremony that was recently aired live on national television.

"I'm overjoyed, I can't believe it," she said after winning her national title. The rest of the Top 3, Una Mugoša and Kristina Radović, were named Miss Eco Montenegro and Miss Tourism Montenegro 2021, respectively.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the selection process of the pageant was carried out online and casting was held at the Voco Hotel in Podgorica.

The new Miss Montenegro, who previously joined Miss Tourism World 2019 in China, currently lives in Germany and speaks several languages. She will now prepare to represent her Balkan country at the 70th Miss World pageant later this year.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn. Miss Universe Ukraine 2022 Viktoria Apanasenko finally revealed her symbolic national costume for the 71st Miss Universe pageant. The "Warrior of Light" costume symbolizes her nation's fight against the darkness, like an archangel Michael with a sword protecting Ukraine. It was completed in four months of extreme conditions, to the sound of sirens, without electricity, and by candlelight.
