Miss Polonia 2020 is Natalia Gryglewska of Częstochowa


A dietetics graduate and model from Częstochowa, Natalia Gryglewska, was crowned Miss Polonia 2020 in a glittering competition held on Monday, March 8 at the Grand Theatre in Łódź.

The 22-year-old beauty who is currently pursuing a master's studies in Warsaw succeeded Miss Polonia 2019 Karolina Bielawska and will now prepare to represent Poland at the 70th Miss World pageant to be held later this year.

Klaudia Wonatowska and Faustyna Wespińska were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Around 20 candidates battled it out for the national crown worth over PLN 50,000.

Miss Polonia is one of the older national pageant in Poland with the first edition held in 1929. Past winners include Ewa Wachowicz, Rozalia Mancewicz, Marcelina Zawadzka, Paulina Krupińska, Izabella Krzan, Agata Biernat and Milena Sadowska.

Poland has won the Miss World crown once courtesy of Aneta Kręglicka in 1989. Its last highest placement was Top 5 in 2004 with Katarzyna Borowicz.
