Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 Top 10 finalists announced


The Top 10 finalists of the Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 have been selected during the elimination round held at RTV’s studio.

They are Aonkita Dey, Apana Chakma, Farzana Akter Ani, Farzana Yasmin, Fatema Tuz Johura, Mariyam Ahmed, Masuda Khan, Nidra Dey, Tangia Zaman Methila, and Towhida Tusnim Tifa.

The panel of judges includes actress Bidya Sinha Meem, singer Tahsan Rahman Khan, Zurhem founder and creative director Mehruz Munir, and BRAC University’s international affairs manager Irene Sommer Tilger.

Sponsored by Flora Bank, Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 grand final will be held on Saturday, March 20 in Dhaka. The winner will represent Bangladesh at the 69th Miss Universe pageant this May in Florida, USA.

The national competition was first held in 2019 and its reigning titleholder Shirin Akter Shila will crown her successor at the end of this year’s event.

Miss Ghana 2025 is Jutta Pokuah Addo from the Central Region

Jutta Pokuah Addo, representing the Central Region, was crowned Miss Ghana 2025 (Miss World Ghana) on Saturday, March 29 at the Avenue Event Center in Accra. The 20-year-old law student bested 12 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Ghana at the Miss World 2025 competition in Telangana, India this May. Maud Anti Oduro and Melissa Minta were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. "I am completely overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. Miss Hawaii USA 2025 is Issha Rose Mata from Hilo

Issha Rose Mata, representing the town of Hilo, bested 16 other contestants to win Miss Hawaii USA 2025 on Saturday, March 22 at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 29-year-old model and digital marketing specialist was crowned by last year's winner and Miss USA 2024 Top 10 finalist Breea Yamat. Mikaela Bega of Maui was named first runner-up while Kristi Van Diver-Kometani of Kakaako, Alexia Locquiao Sommers of Kahala, and Faith Alvior of Valley Isle were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 10 were Ellise Kakazu of Waikiki, Kiri Takanishi of South Shore, Emma Fincher of Orchid Isle, Erica Osterkamp of Manoa, and Kaysha Kahai-Enos of Hawaii Island. 72nd Miss World final date and host country announced

The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe. Miss Montenegro 2025 is Andrea Nikolić from Podgorica

Andrea Nikolić was crowned Miss Montenegro 2025 in a national competition held on Monday, March 31 at Hotel Podgorica. The 21-year-old law student bested 10 other finalists to win the title. Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. A total of 24 beauties battled it out to win the opportunity to represent Nicaragua in the next Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Cosmo competitions. Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City. The 27-year-old events host, model and pilot from Tarlac will represent the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2025 pageant in Jaipur, India this June.
