Miss International Uzbekistan 2021 is Nigina Fakhriddinova

Uzbekistan will debut at Miss International in November with the newly appointed Miss International Uzbekistan 2021, Nigina Fakhriddinova.

The 21-year-old beauty was previously named Miss Intercontinental Uzbekistan 2019 and joined Miss Intercontinental 2019 in Egypt. She will now prepare to represent her central Asian country at the 60th Miss International pageant in Japan later this year.

"I have a dream – to contribute to the life of my people and to the development of the cultural sphere of my country," Nigina shared on social media.

"This is the main reason for participating and the opportunity to represent my country on the Miss International stage, which is very important for me, as this will allow me to achieve new goals, get one step closer to my dream, and proudly declare my Uzbekistan to representatives of dozens of countries of the world," she added.

Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida.
