Zozibini Tunzi attends the Latin American Music Awards 2021


Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi made a special appearance at the Latin American Music Awards 2021 held on Thursday, April 15 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

Styled by Emma Pritchard, the South African beauty looked stunning as she presented an award alongside Mexican actor Jesús Moré.

"I was told to expect a good time by the Latin American community so I acted accordingly and put on a sheer, sparkly [Christian Cowan] dress and arrived," Zozibini shared on her social media page.

"About the fun? They didn't lie! As a result, RIP to my feet from the heels and dancing (horribly if I might add)," she added.

The Latin American Music Awards, a Spanish-language counterpart of the American Music Awards (AMAs), is an annual event presented by Telemundo to honor the best in Latin music.

Former Miss Universe, Zuleyka Rivera, and Miss Universe 2015 first runner-up, Ariadna Gutiérrez, also attended the prestigious event.

Zozibini will relinquish her reign at the 69th Miss Universe pageant on May 16 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood Florida.

Miss Botswana 2025 is Ruth Thomas from Masunga

Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone. The 24-year-old clothing and textile design graduate from the village of Masunga bested nine other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume and is expected to represent Botswana at the 73rd Miss World competition. The biomedical research student, model, and passionate advocate for charity work will represent Singapore in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition in Hyderabad, India. Reigning Miss Belgium Karen Jansen, 23, has been officially announced as Belgium's representative in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition. The psychology student and freelance model from the province of Limburg was recently crowned Miss Belgium 2025 last month in De Panne. Karen will compete with over 100 contestants from around the world to become the next Miss World this May in Hyderabad, India.
