Transgender woman Kataluna Enriquez wins Miss Nevada USA 2021


Miss Silver State, Kataluna Enriquez, edged out over 20 other contestants to be crowned Miss Nevada USA 2021 in a state competition held on Sunday, June 27 in Las Vegas.

The 27-year-old Filipino-American beauty succeeds last year's winner Victoria Olona of Paradise. She will represent the state of Nevada at the Miss USA 2021 pageant in Tulsa, Oklahoma this November.

Kataluna has made history by becoming the first ever transgender woman to compete at Miss USA.

Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. A total of 24 beauties battled it out to win the opportunity to represent Nicaragua in the next Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Cosmo competitions. Crowned Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2025 (Miss World Nicaragua) is Virmania Rodríguez who will head to Hyderabad, India this May to compete in the 72nd Miss World. Miss World Singapore 2025 is Katerina Delvina

Katerina Delvina, 28, bested nine other finalists to be crowned Miss World Singapore 2025 in a recently held national competition in Singapore. The biomedical research student, model, and passionate advocate for charity work will represent Singapore in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition in Hyderabad, India. Arantxa, Tanisha Tan, Anurathi and Dhivvya were named the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss World Singapore was crowned by her predecessor Oh Wei Qi. Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone. The 24-year-old clothing and textile design graduate from the village of Masunga bested nine other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume and is expected to represent Botswana at the 73rd Miss World competition. Reigning Miss Belgium Karen Jansen, 23, has been officially announced as Belgium's representative in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition. The psychology student and freelance model from the province of Limburg was recently crowned Miss Belgium 2025 last month in De Panne. Karen will compete with over 100 contestants from around the world to become the next Miss World this May in Hyderabad, India. Belgium has yet to win the Miss World crown since its first participation in 1969. The country's highest placement was in 1996 when Belgian model Laurence Borremans made the Top 10.
