Miss Earth Venezuela crowned representatives for Miss Earth 2021 and 2022

Two new Miss Earth Venezuela titleholders were announced in a special event held at Globovisión studio in Caracas on Friday, October 15.

A 28-year-old model, anthropologist, and veterinary assistant, María Daniela Velasco, was named Miss Earth Venezuela 2021 while a 24-year-old dentistry student, Elizabeth Gasiba, took home the Miss Earth Venezuela 2022 title.

The newly-crowned beauties will represent Venezuela at Miss Earth 2021 and Miss Earth 2022 pageants, respectively.

Miss Earth Venezuela and Miss Earth Air 2020, Stephany Zreik, relinquished her reign at the end of the show which was hosted by Melisa Rauseo, Alejandro Carreño, and Ronald Sanoja.

Fashion designer and Miss Earth Venezuela organization president Prince Julio Cesar announced the new Venezuelan titleholders remotely from Miami, Florida.

Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Eve Gilles of France was named first runner-up while Lara Marina of Brazil, Ndah Eno of Nigeria, and Karolína Gorylová of the Czech Republic were announced the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery.
