Miss World Philippines 2021 is Tracy Maureen Perez

Tracy Maureen Perez of Cebu City was crowned Miss World Philippines 2021 on Sunday, October 3 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center in Olongapo, Zambales.

The 28-year-old model and industrial engineer succeeds Michelle Dee and will now prepare to represent the Philippines at the 70th Miss World pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico in December.

Kathleen Joy Paton, Zoe Emmanuelle Vera, Trisha Martinez, Michelle Arceo, Shaila Mae Rebortera, and Tatyana Alexi Austria were respectively named Miss Eco International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Tourism Universe, Miss Environment International, Miss Multinational and Miss Eco Teen International Philippines 2021.

Riana Agatha Pangindian was the first princess while Janelle Lewis became the second princess.

The new Miss World Philippines is no stranger to pageantry as she already joined the national competition in 2019 and placed in the Top 12. She also competed in Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and clinched a Top 16 spot.

If ever Tracy becomes Miss World 2021, she will be the second woman from her country to win the coveted title that was first held by Megan Young in 2013.

Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. She succeeds Sophie Burzynski, last year's winner and Miss USA 2023 Top 20 semifinalist. The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Katja Zver was named first runner-up while Neja Prosenjak finished as second runner-up and also bagged the Miss Personality award. Abbie Stockard from Vestavia Hills, Alabama was crowned Miss America 2025 on Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Milla Magee was crowned Miss England 2024 (Miss World England) on Friday, May 17 at The Grand Station in Wolverhampton. The 23-year-old qualified beach lifeguard from Newquay, Cornwall bested 39 other contestants to win the national title. She received the crown from her predecessor, the 71st Miss World Top 8 finalist who was awarded the titles Miss World Europe and Miss United Kingdom  Jessica Ashley Gagen . The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida. China officially crowned two national queens for Miss Universe in one year. Two separate national events were held this year. Xinying Zhu from Anhui province was recently crowned Miss Universe China following an intense one-week competition in Zhangjiajie. The 18-year-old vocational student majoring to become a flight attendant at Suzhou Aviation Vocational College is expected to represent China at Miss Universe 2026. She was crowned by her predecessor, Xue Hou, who won the national title in Sanya last July. Xue will head to the Miss Universe 2025 pageant.
