Lalela Mswane to represent South Africa at Miss Supranational 2022


Miss South Africa Organization has officially announced that Lalela Mswane will be sent to the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant.

The 24-year-old beauty was crowned Miss South Africa last October in Cape Town. She went on to participate in the 70th Miss Universe pageant last December in Israel and placed second runner-up among 80 contestants.

Miss South Africa CEO Stephanie Weil said, "We are super excited about this year’s edition of Miss Supranational and that Lalela will represent us at this prestigious event."

“We once again call on all South Africans to show their support and we believe she will make us all proud,” she added.

The new Miss Supranational South Africa is a proud Zulu woman who hails from KwaSokhulu, in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. She is a professional model, ballerina, and holds a law degree.

Miss Supranational 2022 is expected to be held in Poland this July, where Chanique Rabe of Namibia will hand over the crown to her successor at the end of the event.

Lalela will not be the first Miss South Africa winner who competed in more than one international pageant. Others were Jo-Ann Strauss, Megan Coleman, Tansey Coetzee, Bokang Montjane, Marilyn Ramos, and most recently Ntandoyenkosi Kunene.

Miss Fairfield USA Jenna Hofmann was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2025 on Sunday, January 26 at the Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. Miss Universe 2025: Thailand to host the 74th Miss Universe pageant

Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Miss Universe is now owned by Thai billionaire Anne Jakrajutatip

Chief Executive Officer of JKN Global Group Public Company Limited, Anne Jakrajutatip, has now been confirmed as the new owner of the Miss Universe Organization. The Thai transgender businesswoman, also known as Anne JKN, made the announcement of full ownership of MUO on social media with the caption "Yes, I own it all, I am the sole owner, and finally, the universe is ours." The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. You can watch the Miss America as well as Miss America's Teen 2025 preliminary competition, talent competition, gala fashion show, and finals live streaming on PageantVision.com   site. J谩zmin Vikt贸ria Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Edina Maronka and Nina Tobias were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Sergio Azuaga from Venezuela was crowned Man of the World 2024 on Friday, July 26 at Winford Resort and Casino in Manila, Philippines. The 20-year-old model made history as the first Venezuelan to win the international pageant. He succeeds last year's winner from Korea, Jin Wook Kim.
