Miss Earth Vietnam has a new franchise holder, Miss Earth 2023 might be held in Vietnam


The new president of Nova Entertainment, Truong Ngoc Anh, has announced ownership of the Miss Earth Vietnam franchise in a press conference held last Thursday, February 17.

A national pageant will take place this March to honor the beauty, intelligence, and special talents of young women from 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. The winner will represent the country at the next Miss Earth edition.

There's also a possibility for Miss Earth 2023 to be held in Vietnam as the new national franchisee also announced interest in the rights to host the international competition. The country has already hosted the 10th-anniversary edition in Nha Trang in 2010.

Vietnam has not yet placed at the Miss Earth pageant since successfully winning the coveted title in 2018 with Nguyen Phuong Khanh.

Miss Hawaii USA 2025 is Issha Rose Mata from Hilo

Issha Rose Mata, representing the town of Hilo, bested 16 other contestants to win Miss Hawaii USA 2025 on Saturday, March 22 at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 29-year-old model and digital marketing specialist was crowned by last year's winner and Miss USA 2024 Top 10 finalist Breea Yamat. Mikaela Bega of Maui was named first runner-up while Kristi Van Diver-Kometani of Kakaako, Alexia Locquiao Sommers of Kahala, and Faith Alvior of Valley Isle were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Jutta Pokuah Addo, representing the Central Region, was crowned Miss Ghana 2025 (Miss World Ghana) on Saturday, March 29 at the Avenue Event Center in Accra. The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe. Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City.
