Miss Grand Spain 2022 is Hirisley Jiménez


Miss Las Palmas, Hirisley Jiménez, was crowned Miss Grand Spain 2022 in a national competition held on Monday, May 2 in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria.

The 20-year-old Cuban-Spanish beauty bested over 30 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds Alba Dunkerbeck and will now prepare to represent Spain at the 10th Miss Grand International (Miss Grand International 2022) competition in Indonesia this October.

Oihana Torres of Euskadi was named first runner-up while Anakristina Rivero of Zaragoza finished second runner-up. Madrid's Kristina Caci and Granada's Natalia Quirós were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The reigning Miss Grand International Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien of Vietnam and Miss Grand International Vice President Teresa Chaivisut were special guests at the event.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn. The "Warrior of Light" costume symbolizes her nation's fight against the darkness, like an archangel Michael with a sword protecting Ukraine. It was completed in four months of extreme conditions, to the sound of sirens, without electricity, and by candlelight.
