Miss Northern Ireland 2022 is Daria Gapska


Daria Gapska was crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2022 in a national final held at Europa Hotel in Belfast on Monday, May 23.

The 20-year-old nursing student from Co Antrim bested 23 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds last year's winner Anna Leitch and will now prepare to represent Northern Ireland at the 71st Miss World pageant.

Lucy Johnston and Poppy Smith were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska was a special guest at the event.

Over 20 beauties have already been confirmed as representatives of their respective countries and territories for the 71st Miss World edition. The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. Miss Earth Caguas Valeria Meléndez was proclaimed Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, February 1 at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas. The 25-year-old fashion designer edged out 17 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Earth 2025 pageant. Miss Grand Philippines Roberta Tamondong has been officially announced by the MGI organization as the new Miss Grand International 2022 fifth runner-up. Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Edina Maronka and Nina Tobias were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "I’m beyond blessed and honored that I will represent Hungary," the new Miss Universe Hungary shared on her social media account. "Everything happened so fast so it’ll definitely take time for me to process what happened," she added.
