Miss Supranational Brasil 2022 is Giovanna Reis of Paraná


Miss Supranational Paraná, Giovanna Reis, was crowned Miss Supranational Brasil 2022 in a national competition held at Hotel Sibara Flat & Convenções (Sibara Hotel Convention Center) in Santa Catarina on Friday, May 6.

The 21-year-old businesswoman, model and interior design student from Cascavel bested 26 other beauties to win her title. She succeeds last year's titleholder Deise Benício.

Rio Grande Do Sul's Larissa Grabin and Tocantins' Anna Perillo were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Guanabara's Marcele Cataldo, Rio Grand Do Norte's Adriana Yanca, and Distrito Federal's Carol Tibery completed the Top 6 finalists.

The new Miss Supranational Brasil will represent Brazil at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant to be held in the city of Nowy Sącz in Małopolska, Poland this July.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Katja Zver was named first runner-up while Neja Prosenjak finished as second runner-up and also bagged the Miss Personality award. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn. The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida.
