Miss Universe Curacao 2022 is Gabriela Dos Santos


Gabriela Dos Santos was crowned Miss Universe Curacao 2022 in a glittering event held at Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort in Willemstad on Saturday, May 28.

The 20-year-old beauty from Willemstad edged out two other finalists to win her national title. She succeeds last year's titleholder, Shariengela Cijntje.

Mariana Pietersz and Andreina Pereira were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Former Miss Universe Colombia and Miss Universe Top 5 finalist Valeria Ayos, and Miss Universe Colombia national director Natalie Ackerman were special guests at the recently held competition.

The new Miss Universe Curacao will now prepare to represent Curacao at the 71st Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2022) pageant, whose date and venue have yet to be announced.

Gabriela founded the Light4change foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to raise awareness against cyberbullying.

Curacao, a Dutch Caribbean island known for its beaches, has yet to win the Miss Universe pageant. Its highest placement was first runner-up in 1968 with Annemarie Braafheid.

Miss Global 2025 is Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van of Vietnam

Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van from Vietnam was crowned Miss Global 2025 on Sunday, March 9 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The 33-year-old model hailing from Lam Dong province bested over 60 other contestants to become the first Vietnamese representative to win the international beauty title. Miss Alabama USA 2024 is Diane Westhoven

Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. Agathe Cauet to represent France at the 72nd Miss World

Former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Miss France 2023 first runner-up Agathe Cauet was announced on Monday, March 10 as Miss World France 2025. The 26-year-old former nurse was first runner-up to Miss France 2023 Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe at the national pageant in Châteauroux. Miss Islas Baleares, Michelle Jiménez, was crowned Miss Universe Spain 2024 during the national competition held on Wednesday, September 11 in the municipality of Guía de Isora in Tenerife.
