Send-off event held for Miss and Mister Supranational Vietnam 2022, national competition launched


A send-off event was held for Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen and Mister Supranational Vietnam 2022 Dat Kyo who will represent their country at Miss and Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland this July.

This year's national competition was also officially launched. The press conference took place at Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday, May 17.

Unimedia in collaboration with Leading Media will organize a special reality TV format for the pageant which is expected to run for several months and the final will take place later this year.

Gerhard Parzutka Von Lipinsky, founder and president of the Miss and Mister Supranational pageants, was a special guest during the event.

The event was also attended by Vietnam's very own Mister International Trinh Van Bao and Miss Universe 2018 Top 5 finalist H’Hen Nie.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. Miss Slovenia 2024 is Amadea Zupan from Sežana

Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Katja Zver was named first runner-up while Neja Prosenjak finished as second runner-up and also bagged the Miss Personality award. Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn. The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. You can watch the Miss America as well as Miss America's Teen 2025 preliminary competition, talent competition, gala fashion show, and finals live streaming on PageantVision.com   site.
