Miss for America Strong 2022 is Chelsi Rose of West Virginia
Miss West Virginia, Chelsi Rose, was crowned Miss for America Strong 2022 on Thursday, August 18 at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Nevada.
The runners-up were Chantelle Pressley of Kentucky and Kelly Breuer of New York.
Last year's titleholder Dr. Rachel Fenters crowned her successor at the end of the event. "It's been an incredible nine months as Miss for America," she wrote on social media.
The new Miss for Strong America is a 27-year-old communications graduate from Parkersburg. She is presently working as a marketing executive at FST Image Solutions and an executive producer for Crowning Rose Productions.
Chelsi was named Miss West Virginia United States in 2018 and went on to compete in the Miss United States pageant. She is an advocate for inclusive education and is interested in hunting and conservation.
"How is this even real life y’all," she wrote in a statement on social media while still in disbelief after winning her title.
"It’s been an absolute whirlwind of a night/morning but I just wanted to quickly thank every single one of you for the continued love and support," she added.
