Miss Grand Mexico 2022 is Laysha Salazar


Laysha Anaili Salazar Ocejo was officially announced as Miss Grand Mexico 2022 in a special ceremony held on Thursday, August 25 at the Victoria Hall of the Los Lagos Country Club in Hermosillo.

The 19-year-old beauty hails from the city of Hermosillo, in the center of the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. She is pursuing a degree in entertainment business management.

Previously owned by the Miss Mexico Organization, the license for Miss Grand Mexico has now been taken over by Venezuelan businessman Flavio Falsiroli.

The newly appointed Miss Grand Mexico is no stranger to pageantry. In 2021, she was named Miss Teen Universe Mexico and went on to compete in the Miss Teen Universe pageant in Nicaragua where she placed in the Top 10.

Laysha will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October.

Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. Miss Ghana 2025 is Jutta Pokuah Addo from the Central Region

Jutta Pokuah Addo, representing the Central Region, was crowned Miss Ghana 2025 (Miss World Ghana) on Saturday, March 29 at the Avenue Event Center in Accra. The 20-year-old law student bested 12 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Ghana at the Miss World 2025 competition in Telangana, India this May.
