Miss Intercontinental Seychelles 2022 is Shannen April Henrie
Miss Seychelles 2020 first princess, Shannen April Henrie, has been officially announced to represent Seychelles at the 50th Miss Intercontinental pageant.
The 27-year-old beauty holds an ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business and works as a senior audit executive at ACM & Associates, a professional firm offering assurance services. She is also working towards finishing her ACCA and becoming an affiliate member, as well as pursuing a bachelor's degree in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
Shannen enjoys socializing, singing, and attending weekly dance classes in her free time. Dance has been a passion of hers since she was a child which is why she joined the Emergency Crew, a group of versatile dancers, and has recently performed in a show at ICCS.
Moreover, she has broadened her creativity by bringing to life animated characters through crafting. Using her skills, she has partnered with the Seychelles National Library to assist with reading, arts, and crafts sessions which children of all ages at reading centers in districts. One way of giving back to the community is doing something she loves, which is bringing a smile to a child’s face.
The newly appointed Miss Intercontinental Seychelles 2022 believes that coming from an island developing state, whilst small, Seychelles has much to offer the world.
Miss Intercontinental 2022 final will be held in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt on October 14. The event will stream live on the Miss Intercontinental YouTube channel
