Miss Namibia 2022 is Cassia Sharpley


Cassia Sharpley, 21, from Windhoek, bested 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss Namibia 2022 on Friday, August 12 at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino.

Leoné Van Jaarsveld, 26, from Swakopmund was named first runner-up while Diana Andimba, 23, from Windhoek finished as second runner-up.

The new Miss Namibia is a basic life support paramedic and student at Namibia University of Science and Technology pursuing a degree in emergency medical care (advanced life support).

As a poverty eradication activist, Cassia founded the Honey Comb Haven Foundation to help the less fortunate members of her community.

Last year's winner, Chelsi Shikongo, relinquished her crown to her successor at the end of the competition.

Former Miss Universe from Namibia, Michelle McLean, hosted the event with Namibian actor Adriano Visagie.

Miss Namibia 2022 is expected to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022 while the first runner-up at the next Miss World edition.

Meet the three winners of Mister RNB España 2024

The Mister RNB España 2024 final competition was held on Saturday, October 12 at the Alannia Salou in Tarragona, a port city in northeastern Spain’s Catalonia region. The Miss Globe 2024 is Diana Moreno from Colombia

Colombia's Diana Moreno was crowned The Miss Globe 2024 in a glittering competition held on Tuesday, October 15 at the Tirana Olympic Park in Albania. The 27-year-old international business professional bested over 40 competitors to win the global title. She made history as the first Colombian woman to become The Miss Globe. Prada Thansita Dilhokanansa of Thailand was named first runner-up while Jasmin Bungay of the Philippines, Andromeda Schuster of Germany, and Ha Trang Do of Vietnam were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The Miss International organization has officially announced the names of the contestants who are vying for Miss International 2024. A total of 75 beauties from different countries and territories are expected to compete for the coveted international beauty title. The contestants will start arriving in Japan on October 29 and will be immersed in various social, cultural, and educational activities. Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio from Venezuela will crown her successor on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall. Bahraini-Filipino Shereen Ahmed crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2024

Shereen Ahmed was recently crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2024 and will compete in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. The 29-year-old Bahraini-Filipino beauty succeeds last year's winner Lujane Yacoub. She is the fourth woman to represent Bahrain at Miss Universe. Advaita Shetty, Ola Adel, and Jehan Alrowaie were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Valentina Alekseeva was crowned Miss Russia 2024 during the national competition held on Saturday, October 5 in Moscow. The 18-year-old model from Chuvashia will now prepare to represent Russia at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this coming November. Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. USA's Janelis Leyba was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International 2024 on Monday, October 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, Philippines. The 20-year-old model and student from New York City beat over 30 other contestants to become the first representative from the United States of America to win the international title.
