SPOTLIGHT: Mr World Philippines 2022 Kirk Bondad aims for his country's first Mr World title


A 25-year-old model and Century Tuna Superbods 2022 winner Kirk Bondad will represent the Philippines at the 11th Mr World pageant.

The Filipino-German was officially announced as Mr World Philippines 2022 during the Miss World Philippines 2022 final competition held in June.

Kirk is the brother of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray's ex-boyfriend, the model and actor Clint Bondad. He is also in a relationship right now with Filipino-Australian Kathleen Paton, the reigning Miss Eco International.

Earlier this month, he announced teaming up with The CAMP for his training in preparation for the international pageant and hopefully bringing the first Mr World title to the Philippines.

"Let’s raise the standard together and make history," he wrote in a statement on social media.

The Miss World Organization has yet to announce the final date and venue of the next Mr World edition.

Miss Universe Philippines 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the 6th edition of the annual Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be held this May at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Sixty-nine contestants representing various municipalities, cities, and provinces of the Philippines will compete for a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss Alabama USA 2024 is Diane Westhoven

Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe. Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.
