Miss Earth Namibia 2022 is Diana Andimba

Diana Andimba (left) has been officially announced as Miss Earth Namibia 2022 on Monday, September 12, and she will go to the Philippines to compete for Miss Earth 2022 this November.

The 23-year-old philanthropist, aspiring chef, and architect in training from Windhoek was the second runner-up during Miss Namibia 2022 pageant held last August 12 at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino.

For the first time in Miss Namibia's history, four representatives will represent Namibia on the global stage. Miss Namibia 2022 Cassia Sharpley, 21, will go to 71st Miss Universe, first runner-up Leone Van Jaarsveld, 26, to 71st Miss World, and Miss Teen Namibia Zoe Karsten, 17, to Miss Teen International 2022.

Namibia first joined Miss Earth in 2014 with Paulina Malulu, the first Namibian woman to compete in four major pageants.

This year's appointed Miss Earth Namibia will be the country's third representative to the Philippine-based international competition.
