Miss Gibraltar 2022 is Faith Torres


Faith Torres was crowned Miss Gibraltar 2022 during the national competition held on Saturday, September 17 at the Alameda Open Air Theatre Gibraltar.

The 21-year-old biomedical science graduate bested 11 other finalists to win the title. She also bagged the People's Choice and Miss Elegance awards.

Michelle Lopez Desoisa and Jaylyn Cruz were named the first and second princesses, respectively.

At the end of the show, last year's titleholder Janice Sampere crowned her successor who will now prepare to represent Gibraltar at the 71st Miss World pageant.

The new Miss Gibraltar believes that pageants give women the perfect opportunity to show not only their physical beauty but their intelligence and potential.

This year's Miss Gibraltar pageant was organized by No1 Models Gibraltar headed by Kevin Hewitt.

Over 20 beauties have already been confirmed as representatives of their respective countries and territories for the 71st Miss World edition. The final competition and official venue of the prestigious pageant are yet to be announced by the Miss World Organization. Singaporean lawyer Madeleine Poh was crowned Mrs. Petite Global 2025 in an international pageant held on January 9 at Shantanand Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 28-year-old newly-wed has made history as the first Singaporean representative to be crowned Mrs Petite Global. Helena Bleicher bested over 20 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universe Germany 2023 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 15 at the Holiday Inn Düsseldorf - Neuss. The 24-year-old aspiring teacher and an advocate for environmental conservation and animal welfare will represent Germany at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. Miss Grand Philippines Roberta Tamondong has been officially announced by the MGI organization as the new Miss Grand International 2022 fifth runner-up. The 20-year-old environmental awareness advocate was part of the Top 20 semi-finalists during the Miss Grand International 2022 final competition in Jakarta, Indonesia on October 25.
