Miss Universe Bahrain 2022 is Evlin Khalifa

Evlin Abdullah-Khalifa has been officially announced as Miss Universe Bahrain 2022 on Sunday, September 11 and she will represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant.

The 24-year-old beauty from Riffa holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking and is also a graduate of five schools - music, dancing, modeling, taekwondo, and comprehension. For her, life is a continuous learning process, and it's never too late to study or learn something new.

Lujane Yacoub, 18, from Hamala was named first runner-up, while Shereen Ahmed, 27, from Manama, and Mariam Naji, 25, from Riffa tied for the second runner-up.

The new Miss Universe Bahrain succeeds last year's titleholder Manar "Jess" Deyani. Aside from the title, she also bagged the Prasana by Arjani Resort Choice award for her "innate hospitality and authentic warmth."

Evlin believes that an empowered woman is a role model for the people and that she becomes empowered when she knows herself, her value, and what she is capable of.
