Miss Universe Spain 2022 is Alicia Faubel of Valencia


Alicia Faubel, representing Comunidad Valenciana, was crowned Miss Universe Spain 2022 on Saturday, September 10 at the Los Olivos Beach Resort in Tenerife.

The 25-year-old model bested 13 other beauties to win her national title and she will now prepare to represent Spain at the 71st Miss Universe pageant.

Completing the Top 6 finalists were first runner-up Laura Etayo Sarasa (Navarra), second runner-up María Alexandra Cucu (Andalucia), third runner-up Susana Lucía Medina Martín (Canarias), fourth runner-up Paula Ortega Madarieta (Cataluña), and fifth runner-up Noemí Sartal Loira (Galicia).

Last year's winner, Sarah Loinaz from Guipúzcoa relinquished her reign at the end of the event.

Spain has won Miss Universe once with Amparo Muñoz in 1974. She gave up her crown six months after winning the pageant and became a popular actress.

The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. Marcél Roux from South Africa secured the first runner-up position, while Daniel Jiawei Li from China, Ramón Alcántara from the Dominican Republic, and Gabriel Castañeda from Mexico took the second, third, and fourth runner-up spots, respectively. The 26-year-old businesswoman hailing from Brazil bested 11 other finalists to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Portugal at the 72nd Miss World. Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Miss Universe Peru 2026 is Luren Márquez

Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico. Born in Ica, the new Miss Universe Peru is a business administration graduate from the University of Lima. She also obtained her degree in communication from the Florida Internationl University in the USA. No stranger to pageantry, Luren placed first runner-up at the Miss Peru 2024 pageant. Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Eve Gilles of France was named first runner-up while Lara Marina of Brazil, Ndah Eno of Nigeria, and Karolína Gorylová of the Czech Republic were announced the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola.
