Miss World Nederland 2022 is Amber Koelewijn


Amber Koelewijn was crowned Miss World Nederland 2022 (Miss World Netherlands) in a glittering event that took place on Wednesday, September 28 at the De Koning Party & Events in Amsterdam.

The 17-year-old all-around beautician from Bunschoten-Spakenburg bested 11 other finalists to win the national competition.

Nova Cheyen, 17, from Rotterdam, and Robey Bruins, 21, from Haaksbergen, were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Amber, who advocates against cyberbullying, was also the Talent and Top Model winner. She succeeds Lizzy Dobbe and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the 71st Miss World pageant.

Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. Miss Universe 2025: Thailand to host the 74th Miss Universe pageant

Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Before the exciting announcement, several countries were mentioned as possible hosts including Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Philippines. Karen Jansen, representing the Dutch province of Limburg, was crowned Miss Belgium 2025 on Saturday, February 15 in De Panne. The 23-year-old psychology student and freelance model from Lommel bested more than 30 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner, Kenza Ameloot. Miss Universe Brazil 2025 is Maria Gabriela Lacerda

Maria Gabriela Lacerda, representing the state of Piauí, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2025 on Thursday, February 13 in Alphaville, São Paulo. The 22-year-old journalist bested 23 other contestants to win the beauty title. She received her crown from Brazil's first Miss Universe winner, Miss Universe 1963 Ieda Maria Vargas. Aline Fritsch of Rio Grande do Sul and Ana Carolina Ceolin Comério of Espírito Santo were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This crown is ours, my Piauí. Sergio Azuaga from Venezuela was crowned Man of the World 2024 on Friday, July 26 at Winford Resort and Casino in Manila, Philippines. The 20-year-old model made history as the first Venezuelan to win the international pageant. He succeeds last year's winner from Korea, Jin Wook Kim. Kenneth Vincent Cabungcal of the Philippines was named first runner-up while Gwen Jegouzo of France, Fernando Ezequiel Padín of Puerto Rico, and Sebastián Mora of Ecuador were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Forget-Me-Not USA Jordan Naylor was crowned Miss Alaska USA 2023 on Saturday, January 14 at the Bartlett High School Auditorium in Anchorage. The 25-year-old beauty who studied marketing at Boise State University bested 13 other competitors to win the state title. She will now prepare to represent Alaska at the Miss USA 2023 pageant in Reno, Nevada later this year.
