Miss Botswana 2022 is Lesego Chombo


Lesego Chombo edged out nine other finalists to be crowned Miss Botswana 2022 on Saturday, October 22 at the Fairscape Precinct in Gaborone.

The 24-year-old all-rounder beauty from Maun holds a law degree from the University of Botswana and is currently a practicing attorney at the High Court of Botswana. She will now prepare to represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced.

Tshepo Nthaga and Sebaga Manyapetsa were named the first and second princesses, respectively.

Last year's winner Palesa Molefe passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event which was also attended by the reigning Miss World from Poland, Karolina Bielawska.

For her Beauty With A Purpose (BWAP) project, the new Miss Botswana aims to create a conducive environment for the development of underprivileged children. During her birthday in July, she hosted a recreational outing for 70 children in need. The event consisted of medical checks, educational activities introduction to instrument playing, art lessons, validation sessions, and more.

Miss World Thailand 2025 is Opal Suchata Chuangsri

Opal Suchata Chuangsri was officially proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2025 in a special press presentation held on Tuesday, April 22 in Bangkok. The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. No stranger to pageantry, Opal was previously crowned Miss Universe Thailand and went to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico where she finished as the third runner-up. Philippines' Alexie Caimoso Brooks crowned Miss Eco International 2025

Alexie Caimoso Brooks from the Philippines was crowned Miss Eco International 2025 on Saturday, April 19 at the Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza in Egypt. The 24-year-old athlete and model from the province of Iloilo became the third Filipina to win the international pageant next to Cynthia Thomalla (2018) and Kathleen Paton (2022). Yulinar Fitrani of Indonesia was named first runner-up while Yelyzaveta Adamska of Ukraine, Cynthia Murillo of the USA, and Victoria Repollo Inglis of the United Kingdom finished second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Sofie Ørn Andersen was officially proclaimed Miss Supranational Denmark 2025 in a special ceremony recently held at the Odd Fellow Palace in Copenhagen. Luna Negrín, repesenting Madrid, was crowned Miss Supranational Spain 2025 during the Miss RNB España 2025 final gala held on Saturday, April 12 at the Teatre Auditori Salou (TAS). The 21-year-old journalism student will represent Spain at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. She succeeds last year's winner Elizabeth Laker. Originally from Arona in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Luna was raised in Premià de Mar in Barcelona. She is pursuing a degree in journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
