Miss Earth Venezuela 2022 is Oriana Pablos
Former Miss Distrito Capital and Miss Venezuela 2019 third runner-up Oriana Pablos has been officially named Miss Earth Venezuela 2022 on Tuesday, October 4.
Hosted by Miss Supranational Venezuela 2021 Valentina Sánchez Trivella and Ronald Sanoja, the special unveiling, and the crowning ceremony was broadcasted on Globovisión with the attendance of Miss Earth Venezuela Organization President Prince Julio César and Elizabeth Gasiba, the former titleholder who resigned due to personal reasons.
The newly appointed Miss Earth Venezuela is a 25-year-old production engineering student and model from Caracas who considers herself a woman of God, dedicated, sweet, empathetic, persevering, and committed, not only to her country but to her beloved family. She will travel to the Philippines this November to represent her country at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant.
"For me, being a beauty queen represents the dreams and aspirations of every Venezuelan girl, it is a demonstration that we women can achieve what we set out to do, it is a tool for breaking stereotypes, and of course, an opportunity to inspire and to demonstrate that everything is possible as long as our present principles and values are maintained," she said.
Venezuela has previously won two Miss Earth with Alexandra Braun in 2005 and Alyz Henrich in 2013, and a total of eight Top 4 placements making it one of the strongest competitors at the international pageant.
The national organization is now gearing up for the next edition of Miss Earth Venezuela expected to be held this December to select a representative for Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam.
