Miss Kyrgyzstan 2022 is Diami Almazbekova


Diami Almazbekova was crowned Miss Kyrgyzstan 2022 in a glittering national competition held on Thursday, October 13 in Bishkek.

The 20-year-old professional model currently based in Moscow bested over 20 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She is now expected to represent her country at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023).

Altynai Beishenbaeva was named first runner-up while Aiperi Keneshbekova and Medina Amirova were announced the second and third runners-up, respectively.

Last year's titleholder Altynai Botoyarova, who will compete in the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event.

The national pageant was organized by the Beauty Company Kyrgyzstan under the leadership of Ryskul Namazbekova.

Kyrgyzstan, a beautiful mountainous country situated in Central Asia, made a debut at the Miss Universe pageant in 2018 with Begimay Karybekova.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Katja Zver was named first runner-up while Neja Prosenjak finished as second runner-up and also bagged the Miss Personality award. Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand.
