Miss Kyrgyzstan 2022 is Diami Almazbekova


Diami Almazbekova was crowned Miss Kyrgyzstan 2022 in a glittering national competition held on Thursday, October 13 in Bishkek.

The 20-year-old professional model currently based in Moscow bested over 20 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She is now expected to represent her country at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023).

Altynai Beishenbaeva was named first runner-up while Aiperi Keneshbekova and Medina Amirova were announced the second and third runners-up, respectively.

Last year's titleholder Altynai Botoyarova, who will compete in the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event.

The national pageant was organized by the Beauty Company Kyrgyzstan under the leadership of Ryskul Namazbekova.

Kyrgyzstan, a beautiful mountainous country situated in Central Asia, made a debut at the Miss Universe pageant in 2018 with Begimay Karybekova.

Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. Reigning Miss Denmark Emma Heyst has been officially announced by the Miss Denmark Organization as Miss World Denmark 2025. The 22-year-old was crowned Miss Denmark 2024 in September last year in Copenhagen. She will now prepare to represent Denmark at Miss World 2025 in India this coming May. According to the national pageant organization, Emma is future sociology student, philanthropist, model and sports enthusiast who has been involved in humanitarian work for years. Inspired by her own mother, she is deeply committed to her work with the organization Lykkeliga, which provides an inclusive and safe community for children with developmental disabilities. Former Miss Universe Iceland Sóldís Vala Ívarsdóttir was officially proclaimed Miss Earth Iceland 2025 during the recently held Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland) pageant in Reykjavík.
