Mexicana Universal Sinaloa 2022 is Carolina Pérez Martínez


Carolina Pérez Martínez was crowned Mexicana Universal Sinaloa 2022 on Friday, November 18 at Modular Inés Arredondo (MIA) in Culiacán.

The 26-year-old hotel and tourism management graduate will now prepare to represent the state of Sinaloa at the Mexicana Universal 2023 pageant.

"When dreams are bigger than fears, nothing is impossible. I dreamed about this moment a thousand and one times and it came true. Once again I proved to myself what I am capable of, I am so happy and proud because all my hard work and dedication paid off," she wrote in a statement on social media.

Mexicana Universal is a national pageant established in 2018 and is responsible for selecting Mexico's delegates to Miss Universe, Miss International, and Reina Hispanoamericana.

Headed by former Miss Universe Lupita Jones, the competition replaced Nuestra Belleza México which was first held in 1994.

Sarunrat Puagpipat, representing Phuket, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2025 during the national final competition held on Saturday, March 29 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 28-year-old beauty bested 76 other contestants to win the title and the first back to back victory for her province. She succeeds last year's winner, also from Phuket, Malin Chara-anan. Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025, four new queens crowned

Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. A total of 24 beauties battled it out to win the opportunity to represent Nicaragua in the next Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Cosmo competitions. Crowned Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2025 (Miss World Nicaragua) is Virmania Rodríguez who will head to Hyderabad, India this May to compete in the 72nd Miss World. Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City. The 27-year-old events host, model and pilot from Tarlac will represent the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2025 pageant in Jaipur, India this June. Her predecessor  Maria Gigante from Cebu became the first Filipina to win the title of Universal Woman last year in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone. The 24-year-old clothing and textile design graduate from the village of Masunga bested nine other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume and is expected to represent Botswana at the 73rd Miss World competition.
