Miss Angola Mundo 2022 is Florinda José of Benguela


Florinda José was crowned Miss Angola Mundo 2022 (Miss World Angola) in a national competition held on Friday, November 11 in Luanda.

The 21-year-old education science student from Benguela succeeds last year's titleholder Ruth Carlos and will now prepare to represent Angola at the 71st Miss World pageant.

Pâmela Esteves and Jurema Chipato were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Angola has yet to win the Miss World pageant. The country's highest placement was first runner-up in 2007 with Micaela Reis.

Over 20 beauties have already been confirmed as representatives of their respective countries and territories for the 71st Miss World edition. The final competition and official venue of the prestigious pageant are yet to be announced by the Miss World Organization. Singaporean lawyer Madeleine Poh was crowned Mrs. Petite Global 2025 in an international pageant held on January 9 at Shantanand Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
