Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 is Aché Abrahams
Miss Maracas Valley, Aché Abrahams, was crowned Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain.
The 23-year-old creative artist, a mental health advocate, and social activist residing in Cantaro, Santa Cruz, beat 16 other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Jeanine Brandt and will now prepare to represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant.
Miss Cunupia, Dania Duntin and Miss Arima, Jemima Pierre were respectively announced as the first and second runners-up while Miss Claxton Bay, Janelle Pirmal and Miss San Juan, Savannah Sandy rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
The rest of the Top 10 were Miss Carenage, Lystia Mulzac; Miss Diamond Vale, Emma-Leigh Aqui; Miss Glencoe, Gabriella Jagmohan; Miss Marabella, Felicia Ramoutar; and Miss Morvant, Brenique Richards.
Fast track challenge winners who won a guaranteed spot into the Top 10 were Miss Maracas Valley, Aché Abrahams (Fitness and Digital Media); Miss Arima, Jemima Pierre (Top Model); Miss Carenage, Lystia Mulzac (Talent); and Miss San Juan, Savannah Sandy (Beauty With A Purpose).
The new Miss World Trinidad and Tobago, who was also awarded Miss Photogenic, is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Convent, St. Joseph, and completed an acting program at the Identity School of Acting in London. She works as a model and is the marketing/social media manager for her family’s construction company.
