Mister Grand International 2022 is Michael Pelletier of Switzerland
The 28-year-old fashion model from Perly, Geneva, succeeded last year's winner from Puerto Rico, Fernando Ezequiel Padin. He became the first representative from his country to win the international title.
Rounding out the Top 6 finalists were first runner-up from the Philippines, Kristzan Karlo Delos Santos; second runner-up from Singapore, Aaron Tan; third runner-up from Trinidad and Tobago, Aquil Ramsahai; fourth runner-up from Vietnam, Nguyen Vu Linh; and fifth runner-up from Tahiti, Teaniva Dinard.
No stranger to pageantry, the new Mister Grand International was named Mister Suisse Francophone 2020 and went on to win the Mister Globe 2021 virtual edition.
"It is an immense honor for me to receive such a reward for a long-term work and the trust you have placed in me by supporting me throughout this adventure," he wrote in a statement on social media taking the opportunity to thank his supporters and share what the title means to him.
"This title is a great responsibility that I won’t take lightly. This designation encourages empowerment, respect, and sensibility. You can definitely count on me to carry this title with utmost dignity," he added.
Established in 2017, the Mister Grand International pageant celebrates the positive qualities of men. Its winners exemplify modern and empowered men who are grounded in integrity and strong in character.
