Al Sivka wins Mister Slovenije 2022, goes to Mister Global


Al Sivka was proclaimed the winner of Mister Slovenije (Mister Slovenia) 2022 during the national final on Sunday, December 4 at the Šentjakob Theater in Ljubljana.

The 19-year-old model from Izola beat 11 other finalists to win the national title. He succeeds last year's winner Sebastian Čufer and will now prepare to represent Slovenia at the 8th Mister Global pageant in Thailand.

"I still cannot describe the feelings I had when receiving the title of Mister Slovenia 2022. I would like to thank everyone that motivated and supported me on the way to this achievement," he wrote on social media.

Rounded out the Top 5 finalists were Martin Peternelj, Leo Krajnc, Kristijan Plesec, and Sven Arnautovič Holobar.

Miss Fairfield USA Jenna Hofmann was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2025 on Sunday, January 26 at the Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 23-year-old real estate professional, originally from New York, will now prepare to represent Connecticut at the Miss USA 2025 pageant. She succeeds last year's winner Shavana Clarke. Makaʻala Perry is the newly appointed Miss International Hawaii 2023 and will represent the Aloha State at Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. The 24-year-old flight attendant, business owner, and musician was announced as Priscilla Wang's successor for the national title last month.
