Miss International 2022 is Jasmin Selberg of Germany


Germany's Jasmin Selberg was crowned Miss International 2022 from a field of 66 contestants in a glittering competition held on Tuesday, December 13 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

The 23-year-old university student in history and philosophy received the new crown by Long Beach Pearl from Sireethorn Leearamwat, the longest-reigning Miss International from Thailand.

Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were the first runner-up from Cabo Verde, Stephany Amado; second runner-up from Peru, Tatiana Calmell; third runner-up from Colombia, Natalia López Cardona; and fourth runner-up from the Dominican Republic, Celinee Santos.


The representatives from Canada, Jamaica, and Spain finished in the Top 8 while Costa Rica, Finland, France, New Zealand, Northern Marianas, Philippines, and the United Kingdom were the rest of the Top 15 semi-finalists.

This year's pageant marked the 60th edition of Miss International and was held after a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was themed "Beauties For SDGs" to promote the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

The new Miss International became the third woman from Germany to clinch the beauty title next to Miss International 1965 Ingrid Finger and Miss International 1989 Iris Klein.

Miss Grand Thailand 2025 is Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket

Sarunrat Puagpipat, representing Phuket, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2025 during the national final competition held on Saturday, March 29 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 28-year-old beauty bested 76 other contestants to win the title and the first back to back victory for her province. She succeeds last year's winner, also from Phuket, Malin Chara-anan. Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. A total of 24 beauties battled it out to win the opportunity to represent Nicaragua in the next Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Cosmo competitions. Tarlac's Jasmine Omay appointed Universal Woman Philippines 2025

Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City. The 27-year-old events host, model and pilot from Tarlac will represent the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2025 pageant in Jaipur, India this June. Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone. The 24-year-old clothing and textile design graduate from the village of Masunga bested nine other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume and is expected to represent Botswana at the 73rd Miss World competition.
