Miss International 2022 kicks off, day one standouts


Miss International 2022 contestants spent their day one in Tokyo, Japan with an orientation and warm welcome from the chairperson of the International Cultural Association, Akemi Shimomura, together with Mr. Takashi Ikemitsu of the Japan Travel Agency.

They were all specially commissioned as Miss Visit Japan Tourism Ambassadors in their respective countries and the certificate was handed over to Miss International Spain 2022 Julianna Ro. The 66 beauties will now be the goodwill ambassadors for Japan once they return home after the competition.

Standouts from day one were the representatives of Cabo Verde, Colombia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, France, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Venezuela, and Vietnam.

Miss Grand Thailand 2025 is Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket

Sarunrat Puagpipat, representing Phuket, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2025 during the national final competition held on Saturday, March 29 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 28-year-old beauty bested 76 other contestants to win the title and the first back to back victory for her province. She succeeds last year's winner, also from Phuket, Malin Chara-anan. Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025, four new queens crowned

Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. A total of 24 beauties battled it out to win the opportunity to represent Nicaragua in the next Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Cosmo competitions. Tarlac's Jasmine Omay appointed Universal Woman Philippines 2025

Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City. The 27-year-old events host, model and pilot from Tarlac will represent the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2025 pageant in Jaipur, India this June. Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone.
