71st Miss Universe contestants depart for New Orleans to compete for the coveted title


The highly anticipated 71st Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2022) competition is about to officially begin in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

Almost 90 most beautifully confident women from around the globe are now heading to the host city to compete for the most coveted beauty title in the universe.

The contestants will be accommodated at their official hotel (Hyatt Regency) throughout the competition which will culminate on Saturday, January 14 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.

They will compete for the job of Miss Universe through the process of personal statements, in-depth interviews, and various categories including evening gowns and swimwear.

Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, who brought the title back to India for the first time in 21 years, will crown her successor at the end of the event.

The forthcoming international spectacle will be the first edition of the pageant to be held under the ownership of Thailand-based JKN Global Group.
