71st Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel kicks off media week


Following her well-deserved victory at the 71st Miss Universe pageant, the first Miss USA to win the crown in 10 years R'Bonney Gabriel immediately flew to New York to kick off her reign.

Her first official week as the new Miss Universe started with a media tour and her first stop in "The Big Apple" on Monday, January 16 was an interview with Good Morning America on ABC.

Wearing her own designed outfit, her official Miss Universe sash, and the Mouawad "Force for Good" crown, the 28-year-old fashion designer talked about her historic win in New Orleans.

On being the first Filipino-American to become Miss Universe, she said: "Oh my gosh, well, Filipinos are so happy. They are just over the moon about it. It's a huge win for the community and just representation — it's an honor."

Miss Grand USA 2025 is Ivana Garcia of Ohio

Miss Grand Ohio Ivana Garcia was crowned Miss Grand USA 2025 in a national competition held last Monday, August 18 in Las Vegas. The 23-year-old model and entrepreneur will represent the USA at Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand this October. She succeeds last year's winner Cora Griffen. Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also, this will be the first edition under the leadership of the new Chairman, President, and CEO, Thom Brodeur. Roziel Borges was officially crowned Miss Venezuela Earth 2025 in a special ceremony that took place on Globovisión's "La Tizana" show on Tuesday, October 7. The 24-year-old language student, model and community manager born in Maracay, Aragua received the crown from her predecessor Karleys Rojas. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Venezuela Earth has previously won two international beauty titles — Miss Tourism Planet 2023 in Greece and Beauty of the World 2024 in China.
