70th Miss World Karolina Bielawska visits Monterrey, Mexico


70th Miss World Karolina Bielawska touched down in Monterrey, the capital of the northeastern Mexican state of Nuevo León at the start of her 5-day visit to the country.

The Polish beauty queen was also reunited with her Miss World sister Karolina Vidales (the reigning Miss World Mexico and 70th Miss World Top 6 finalist).

They both took the opportunity to catch up while enjoying the afternoon sunshine in the beautiful Santa Lucia Park which hosts the annual Santa Lucia International Festival.

The famous festival is the biggest cultural event in Nuevo León. It is a celebration of young performers, artists, and international cultural activities with exhibits and performances not only taking place in the park but throughout the surrounding streets.

Karolina's visit to Mexico is another addition to her record-breaking number of visited countries during her remarkable year as Miss World titleholder. She will crown her successor at the upcoming 71st Miss World final (Miss World 2023) in India.

72nd Miss World final date and host country announced

The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe. Miss Universe Brazil 2025 is Maria Gabriela Lacerda

Maria Gabriela Lacerda, representing the state of Piauí, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2025 on Thursday, February 13 in Alphaville, São Paulo. The 22-year-old journalist bested 23 other contestants to win the beauty title. She received her crown from Brazil's first Miss Universe winner, Miss Universe 1963 Ieda Maria Vargas. Aline Fritsch of Rio Grande do Sul and Ana Carolina Ceolin Comério of Espírito Santo were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This crown is ours, my Piauí. Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Before the exciting announcement, several countries were mentioned as possible hosts including Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Philippines. Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Edina Maronka and Nina Tobias were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "I’m beyond blessed and honored that I will represent Hungary," the new Miss Universe Hungary shared on her social media account. "Everything happened so fast so it’ll definitely take time for me to process what happened," she added.
