Voting now open for 71st Miss Universe best in national costume


Miss Universe fans have the power to decide by voting among 84 creative costumes the winner from the Miss Universe 2022 national costume show held in New Orleans in January.

The Miss Universe Organization officially opened the national costume vote on its official app which is available for you to download free on the App Store and Google Play.

Head to the app now and vote for your favorite country to win the 71st Miss Universe competition's best in national costume. Your first vote is free!

In case you missed it, the national costume show took place following the preliminary swimsuit and evening gown competition last January 11 at New Orleans Morial Convention Center.

You can watch or rewatch the 84 contestants as they take to the stage in their costumes below:

Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the 6th edition of the annual Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be held this May at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Sixty-nine contestants representing various municipalities, cities, and provinces of the Philippines will compete for a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. Agathe Cauet to represent France at the 72nd Miss World

Former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Miss France 2023 first runner-up Agathe Cauet was announced on Monday, March 10 as Miss World France 2025. The 26-year-old former nurse was first runner-up to Miss France 2023 Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe at the national pageant in Châteauroux. Agathe will now prepare to represent France at the 72nd Miss World this May in India. The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition.
