Reina Hispanoamericana 2022: Guatemala wins Best in National Costume


Guatemala's Camila Riveiro was awarded Mejor Traje Tipico (Best in National Costume) during the Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 national costume competition held on Sunday, March 19 in Porongo, Bolivia.

The winning national costume was designed and created by the talented Guatemalan artist and costume designer César Alejandro Portillo.

Rounding out the Top 7 costumes came from Bolivia (María Jesús Jimenez), Brazil (Guilhermina Montarroyos), Ecuador (Heather Ashley Valdez Yepez), Mexico (Diana Robles), Puerto Rico (Ediris Joan Rivera), and Venezuela (Adriana Pérez).

The 31st Reina Hispanoamericana final competition will be held on Saturday, March 25 at the Salón Sirionó Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
