Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation night will be held on May 13


Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation night will be held on Saturday, May 13 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines.

The official announcement was made by the national organization via social media on Friday, March 3 following the introduction of the Top 40 contestants vying for this year's coveted title.

A total of 40 contestants representing various cities and municipalities of the Philippines will fight for the crown and get the opportunity to represent the country at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador later this year.

Due to health reasons, one of the contestants Evangeline Fuentes of Pangasinan withdrew but she was officially replaced by Kristeen Mae Boccang from the beautiful province of Apayao.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Katja Zver was named first runner-up while Neja Prosenjak finished as second runner-up and also bagged the Miss Personality award. Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Miss America 2024 will be the 96th edition of the Miss America pageant — the nation's leading provider of scholarships for young women. The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida.
