Miss Intercontinental Great Britain 2023: Meet the winners


The Miss Intercontinental Great Britain 2023 pageant was held on Saturday, April 15 at The Radlett Centre in Radlett, Hertfordshire (England).

A total of nine contestants took part in the live national final where three titles were at stake — Miss Intercontinental England, Scotland, and Wales.

Reigning Miss Grand United Kingdom, Sofia Mayers, former Miss Intercontinental Ireland Nadia Sayers, and Miss Intercontinental 1994 winner Kimberly Anne Byers (USA) were in the panel of judges.

The winners were Georgia Urmson (Miss Intercontinental Wales 2023), Lana Taylor (Miss Intercontinental England 2023), and Emily Merchant (Miss Intercontinental Scotland 2023).

They will represent their respective countries at the 51st Miss Intercontinental (Miss Intercontinental 2023) world final on a date and venue yet to be announced.

The rest of the nine contestants were Shannon Allslop, Mai Caring, Lauri Knowler, Elli May Sait, Deyonne Best, and Chiara-Francesca Fox.

Former titleholder and Miss Intercontinental 2021 second runner-up who bagged the title Miss Intercontinental Europe, Romy Odile Simpkins, was announced as the national pageant's director last December. She organized the competition alongside Miss Atlantic UK 2023.

Miss Universe Brazil 2025 is Maria Gabriela Lacerda

Maria Gabriela Lacerda, representing the state of Piauí, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2025 on Thursday, February 13 in Alphaville, São Paulo. The 22-year-old journalist bested 23 other contestants to win the beauty title. She received her crown from Brazil's first Miss Universe winner, Miss Universe 1963 Ieda Maria Vargas. Aline Fritsch of Rio Grande do Sul and Ana Carolina Ceolin Comério of Espírito Santo were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This crown is ours, my Piauí. 72nd Miss World final date and host country announced

The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe. Dia Maté of the Philippines was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on Sunday, February 9 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Cavite became the second Filipina to win the international pageant next to Teresita Ssen Marquez who won in 2017. She also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Her costume "Banaag" by Ehrran Montoya was inspired by her country's baroque churches recognized in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Edina Maronka and Nina Tobias were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
