Russia's Angelina Gorbunova wins Miss Supermodel Worldwide 2023


Angelina Gorbunova, representing Russia, was crowned Miss Supermodel Worldwide 2023 on Saturday, April 15 at the City Park Resort in Ghevra, New Delhi, India.

The 20-year-old model and talented singer bested 19 other competitors to win the title. She succeeded last year's winner, Alexandra Mae Rosales of the Philippines.

Daria Shapovalova of Belarus was announced as the first runner-up while Precious Chimfwembe Mwamba Ng'oma of Zambia finished as the second runner-up.

Rounded out the Top 5 finalists were third runner-up Natrawee Chiarasathid of Thailand and fourth runner-up Shyrla Santos Nuñez of the Philippines.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Supermodel Worldwide previously held three national titles consisting of Miss Tourism Russia 2019, The Miss Globe Russia 2020, and Miss Supranational Russia 2021.

Following her participation in The Miss Globe 2020 pageant in Tirana, Albania where she bagged the Best in Talent award, she went on to compete in Miss Supranational 2021 in Nowy Sącz, Poland.

"This victory is for you Russia. I did it. It was the best moment of my life. Thank you all who believed in me and supported me," she shared after winning her international title.
