Miss Universe Australia 2023: Meet the finalists from New South Wales and Victoria


Following South Australia and Queensland, two more states selected their respective representatives for the Miss Universe Australia 2023 national final.

The state final for New South Wales was held on Friday, May 19 at Café del Mar in Sydney.

Four finalists have been announced from the premiere state — Vitoria Camporeale, Tash Knox, Sené Maluwapi, and Farida Rakhmanova.

On Sunday, May 21, the Victoria state final was held at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins where a total of seven winners emerged.

The national finalists from the garden state are Claire Rossier, Brooke Bailey, Alexandra Danielle Lim, Moraya Wilson, Maddison Cottle, Johara Pillay, and Lauren Walker.

They will now prepare to compete for the Miss Universe Australia 2023 title this September in Melbourne.

Miss Ghana 2025 is Jutta Pokuah Addo from the Central Region

Jutta Pokuah Addo, representing the Central Region, was crowned Miss Ghana 2025 (Miss World Ghana) on Saturday, March 29 at the Avenue Event Center in Accra. The 20-year-old law student bested 12 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Ghana at the Miss World 2025 competition in Telangana, India this May. Plus-sized Sara Milliken crowned Miss Alabama for National American Miss 2024

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Andrea Nikolić was crowned Miss Montenegro 2025 in a national competition held on Monday, March 31 at Hotel Podgorica. The 21-year-old law student bested 10 other finalists to win the title. She will represent Montenegro at Miss World 2025 in Telangana, India this May. Sara Žižić was named first runner-up while Ksenija Popović finished as the second runner-up. Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. Issha Rose Mata, representing the town of Hilo, bested 16 other contestants to win Miss Hawaii USA 2025 on Saturday, March 22 at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 29-year-old model and digital marketing specialist was crowned by last year's winner and Miss USA 2024 Top 10 finalist Breea Yamat. Mikaela Bega of Maui was named first runner-up while Kristi Van Diver-Kometani of Kakaako, Alexia Locquiao Sommers of Kahala, and Faith Alvior of Valley Isle were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City. The 27-year-old events host, model and pilot from Tarlac will represent the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2025 pageant in Jaipur, India this June.
