Palawan's Angelica Lopez wins Binibining Pilipinas International 2023


Angelica Lopez was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 during the 59th Binibining Pilipinas edition on Sunday, May 28 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

The 22-year-old model and psychology student from Palawan bested 30 other competitors to win the title. She will now prepare to represent the Philippines at Miss International 2024.

Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2023 went to Anna Valencia Lakrini, 25, from Bataan. She will travel to Albania for The Miss Globe 2023 pageant.

Katrina Anne Johnson of Davao del Sur and Atasha Reign Parani of General Trias Cavite were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Last year's winners Nicole Borromeo and Chelsea Fernandez, and runners-up Nicole Budol and Stacey Gabriel crowned their respective successors at the end of the glittering event.

Binibining Pilipinas 2023 was hosted by former Miss Universe Catriona Gray, Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean Lastimosa, and Miss Grand Philippines 2016 Nicole Cordoves.

Reigning Miss International Jasmin Selberg attended the pageant as a special guest. She also participated in the opening number and was seated as part of the distinguished panel of judges.
