Miss Grand Peru 2023 is Luciana Fuster

Luciana Fuster was proclaimed Miss Grand Peru 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, June 22 in Lima.

The 24-year-old model and TV personality from Callao bested 10 other competitors to win the title. She succeeds last year's titleholder and Miss Grand International 2022 Top 20 semifinalist, Janet Leyva.

Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Pía Requejo, Zuliet Seminario, Brenda Serpa, and Michelle Choque. They were announced as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

"I couldn’t be happier. Infinite thanks for supporting me and accompanying me on this wonderful path," Luciana wrote on social media after winning the pageant.

"Representing my Peru is a very big responsibility that fills my heart with emotion and pride. I promise to work very hard to bring the golden crown back home," she added.

Reigning Miss Grand International Isabella Menin from Brazil attended the event as a special guest together with Miss Grand International Vice President Teresa Chaivisuit from Thailand.

Peru won the Miss Grand International pageant once courtesy of María José Lora in 2017.

The new Miss Grand Peru will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October.
