Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2023 is Ritassya Wellgreat


Palembang's Ritassya Wellgreat Waynands bested 19 other competitors to be crowned Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2023 (Miss Grand Indonesia 2023) on Thursday, June 8 at Ciputra Artpreneur in Jakarta.

The 22-year-old model and summa cum laude alumna of Sriwijaya University will represent Indonesia at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October.

Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Valerie Avril, Chesy Anribka, Vanessa Hatter, and Sahida Sheik.

As runners-up, they are expected to be designated for Miss Face of Humanity 2023, Miss Eco International 2024, Reina Hispanoamericana 2023, and World Top Model 2023.

The rest of the Top 10 semifinalists were Febby Deng, Michelle Ayu, Rayya Haqq, Vania Agustina, and Vinnilya Huanggrio

Last year's titleholder and Miss Grand International 2022 second runner-up, Andina Julie, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Fairfield USA Jenna Hofmann was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2025 on Sunday, January 26 at the Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 23-year-old real estate professional, originally from New York, will now prepare to represent Connecticut at the Miss USA 2025 pageant. She succeeds last year's winner Shavana Clarke. Singaporean lawyer Madeleine Poh was crowned Mrs. Petite Global 2025 in an international pageant held on January 9 at Shantanand Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Miss Grand Philippines Roberta Tamondong has been officially announced by the MGI organization as the new Miss Grand International 2022 fifth runner-up. Makaʻala Perry is the newly appointed Miss International Hawaii 2023 and will represent the Aloha State at Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. The 24-year-old flight attendant, business owner, and musician was announced as Priscilla Wang's successor for the national title last month. Besides working for Hawaiian Airlines and running her own business called Sunbeams Creamery, a dessert shop located in Wahiawa, she is also pursuing her bachelor of arts degree in music at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Miss Central Ohio, Mackenzie Schutt was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2023 in a state competition held on Saturday, May 20 at The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth. The 27-year-old model and personal trainer from Columbus holds a degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Calvin University (formerly Calvin College) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mackenzie joined the pageant several times before finally winning the title.
