Miss Nederland 2023: Miss Universe Netherlands 2023 is Rikkie Valerie Kollé


Rikkie Valerie Kollé was crowned Miss Nederland 2023 (Miss Universe Netherlands 2023) on Saturday, July 8 at the AFAS Theater in Leusden.

The 22-year-old Dutch-Moluccan model and actress living in Breda succeeds Ona Moody and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador.

Nathalie Mogbelzada, 26, from Amsterdam, was named first runner-up while Habiba Mostafa and Lou Dirchs were awarded Miss Congeniality and Miss Social Media, respectively.

Reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA graced the glittering event as a special guest.

The new Miss Universe Netherlands made history as she became the first-ever transgender woman to win the national title.

She will be the second transgender representative at the Miss Universe pageant next to Spain's Angela Ponce who participated in 2018.

Miss Universe 2025: Thailand to host the 74th Miss Universe pageant

Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Before the exciting announcement, several countries were mentioned as possible hosts including Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Philippines. Miss Fairfield USA Jenna Hofmann was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2025 on Sunday, January 26 at the Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 23-year-old real estate professional, originally from New York, will now prepare to represent Connecticut at the Miss USA 2025 pageant. She succeeds last year's winner Shavana Clarke. The representatives of Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant have been crowned on July 24 in Banja Luka. Ines Radoncic, who recently completed a BA in International Business and Finance at the International University of Sarajevo, was named Miss Earth Bosnia and Herzegovina 2021. Andrijana Nina Delibašić, a law student and a professional model, clinched the Miss Earth Montenegro 2021 title. Ana Brzanova, A 21-year-old financial management student and cancer survivor from Gevgelija, won the title of Miss Earth North Macedonia 2021. Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Karín Aridi of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Vanessa Pérez of Distrito Capital, Sarilé González of Miranda, and Vanessa Peroza of Nueva Esparta were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Venezuela's Sergio Azuaga wins Man of the World 2024

Sergio Azuaga from Venezuela was crowned Man of the World 2024 on Friday, July 26 at Winford Resort and Casino in Manila, Philippines. The 20-year-old model made history as the first Venezuelan to win the international pageant. He succeeds last year's winner from Korea, Jin Wook Kim. Kenneth Vincent Cabungcal of the Philippines was named first runner-up while Gwen Jegouzo of France, Fernando Ezequiel Padín of Puerto Rico, and Sebastián Mora of Ecuador were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Scotland 2024 is Amy Scott from Strathaven

Amy Scott edged out nine other finalists to be crowned Miss Scotland 2024 (Miss World Scotland) on Saturday, August 24 at The Corinthian Club in Glasgow. The 24-year-old MS advocate from Strathaven will represent Scotland at the 72nd Miss World. She succeeds last year's winner, Miss Scotland 2023 Chelsie Allison. Olivia Maree Wilson from Kilsyth and Sasha Elizabeth McDonald from Angus were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Belgium 2025 is Karen Jansen of Limburg

Karen Jansen, representing the Dutch province of Limburg, was crowned Miss Belgium 2025 on Saturday, February 15 in De Panne. The 23-year-old psychology student and freelance model from Lommel bested more than 30 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner, Kenza Ameloot. Jane Baesen and Astrid Lafaut were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Axana Carmoy and Kiana Verstraete were the other runners-up. The new Miss Belgium is now expected to represent "The Land of Waffles and Fries" at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November.
