Miss Polski 2023 is Angelika Jurkowianiec


Angelika Jurkowianiec was crowned Miss Polski 2023 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, July 16 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz.

The 26-year-old model, medical analysis student, and dental clinic employee from the province of Opolskie bested 31 other competitors to win the national title. She is now expected to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.

Julia Marcinkowska was named first runner-up while Dominika Staniaszek, Patrycja Jarocka, and Martyna Rurańska were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Last year's winner who relinquished her reign at the end of the event, Aleksandra Klepaczka, participated in Miss Universe 2022 last January, and on Saturday in Miss Supranational 2023 where she placed in the Top 24.

Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn. Nguyen Man Lan of Vietnam and Glenn Victor Sutanto were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. The semifinal round of Miss Polski 2024 (Miss Poland 2024) took place on Friday, April 26 at Hotel Kolumna Park in Przygoń. From 59 semifinalists, only 32 beauties (two from each region) have been selected to move on to the final competition to be held this July. The next Miss Polski, to be crowned by last year's titleholder  Angelika Jurkowianiec , is expected to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2024 and/or Miss Supranational 2025. María Cepero Jiménez of Puerto Rico was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2024 on Friday, December 6 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The 26-year-old law student beat over 50 other contestants to win her country's 5th Miss Intercontinental title. She succeeds last year's winner Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat from Thailand.
