Miss Universe Bahrain 2023: Meet the finalists

From hundreds of aspirants, the Top 7 finalists selected to compete for the title of Miss Universe Bahrain 2023 have been officially revealed on Thursday, July 7.

One of them will succeed the reigning queen Evlin Khalifa and represent Bahrain at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador.

Fan voting is now open on the Choicely app where you can vote for your favorites until August 5. The winner from the public votes will be announced during the grand final show this September.

Who will be the next Miss Universe Bahrain?

Meet the finalists:


Advaita Shetty - 28, has a degree in animal welfare and environmental health and currently pursuing her master's in clinical audiology.

Lujane Yacoub - 19, an actress, a dancer, and a model who plans to pursue her passion and study Creative Arts in London.

Mariam Naji - 26, a school principal, social media influencer, and member of Bahrain’s national fencing team.

Mary Mohamed - 28, a Bahraini-Filipina, certified cognitive behavioral counselor specializing in eating disorder.

Menatalla Husein - 20, loves to play billiards and draw. She wants to use her voice to advocate for orphans and open more discussions about mental health within her community.

Nivine Abouzeid - 24, a marketing and PR professional in one of the region's leading hospitality, transportation, and real estate developers.

Tuhina Carrol - 28, a flight attendant for Bahrain's national airline. She lives by her philosophy "treat people the way you want to be treated."

Agathe Cauet to represent France at the 72nd Miss World

Former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Miss France 2023 first runner-up Agathe Cauet was announced on Monday, March 10 as Miss World France 2025. The 26-year-old former nurse was first runner-up to Miss France 2023 Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe at the national pageant in Châteauroux. Agathe will now prepare to represent France at the 72nd Miss World this May in India. She succeeds Clémence Botino who went to the 71st Miss World, also in India, and placed in the Top 40 among 112 contestants. Miss Global 2025 is Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van of Vietnam

Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van from Vietnam was crowned Miss Global 2025 on Sunday, March 9 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The 33-year-old model hailing from Lam Dong province bested over 60 other contestants to become the first Vietnamese representative to win the international beauty title. Keri-Ann Greenwood of Jamaica was named first runner-up while Ediris Rivera of Puerto Rico, Lindsay Lauren Becker of the USA, and Xena Ramos of the Philippines were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. 72nd Miss World final date and host country announced

The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe. SPOTLIGHT: Meet Hanna Kim, Miss Universe Korea 2022

Korea will be represented at the 71st Miss Universe pageant by Hanna Kim. The 27-year-old model currently based in New York City was appointed as Miss Universe Korea 2022 last April. She was the first runner-up during last year's national competition. Apart from modeling, Hanna is a linguist and interpreter, who specialized in clinical trials. She is also a skilled classical ballet dancer. "Words cannot describe how honored I am to be representing Korea at the 71st edition of Miss Universe," she shared on social media. Miss Universe 2024: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. The country known for its rich culture, ancient ruins, dazzling beaches, and incredible cuisine has been chosen to host the competition for the fifth time after 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. After two weeks of pre-pageant activities, challenges, and preliminary evaluations, Miss Supranational 2023 is culminating tonight at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. South Africa's first-ever Miss Supranational, Lalela Mswane, will pass the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Before the exciting announcement, several countries were mentioned as possible hosts including Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Philippines.
